Lafayette Square Park, an original part of the President’s Park has an incredible history. Around this leafy square are the homes of those who most closely advised our presidents, created our policies, increased our culture and protested for change. This small area holds a wealth of stories from 1800 to the present day.

Starting at the Renwick Gallery, take a stroll around Lafayette Square Park, a web of politics and culture woven into elegant townhomes, luxurious hotels and the leafy path to the most powerful House in America. Tour ends on the opposite side of the park, near 15th St.
